European Forum on Nature Conservation and Pastoralism anordnar i augusti två workshops och en studieresa på temat bete för landskapsvård. För mer information se här!
The European Environment Agency (EEA), the University of Copenhagen and the European Forum for Nature Conservation and Pastoralism (EFNCP) have come together to offer you a great opportunity to learn about how different types of grazing systems can be a solution for EU biodiversity goals (and vice versa).
This 2-day workshop will take place in Copenhagen from 22nd to 23rd of August 2022 and will conclude with an excursion to a large nature area managed to a large degree by grazing. Please find attached a final draft agenda.
In the latest years the EEA, together with several partners, have created grazing datasets covering several countries. This workshop is the chance to share this knowledge and aims to provide input to EU-level discussions on restoring biodiversity in agro-ecosystems.
Participation is free. However, hotel and travel costs need to be covered by attendees themselves. Online participation is possible. In both cases please register with Charlotta Colliander: Charlotta.Colliander@eea.europa.eu
Please note that the week before (14-19 August) there will be other events organized by the EFNCP and local partners including: a regional workshop in northern Germany, a (cycling) study tour in Denmark to visit conservation grazing sites.
